Hand turned on the lathe. This lamp is made from spalted beech wood. The wood is selected to give a lovely lined finish h in the wood. This is the spalted part and is a trees reaction to infection to protect itself. Old style brass bayonet fittings are used with three core earthed wire and wall plug (3amp fuse). They are 30cm tall to the top of the brass fitting.
Each lamp is finished with a clear hard friction polish to keep the true colour of the wood. They can be kept clean with a standard wax polish.
